Error; Attempting to run Brain.exe, Item not found.

My brain is dead. I never expected my brain to rot so quickly over the holidays.. But apparently sitting around on the sofa for 6 weeks whilst doing nothing else can do that to you. What's worse is that I now actually have to try and use this piece of garbage in my head, because I'm back at School. AH Maths and Chemistry and practically just killing the brain cells which didn't happen to die during the Summer. And sleep deprivation from various parties and gatherings doesn't really help either. Not that I'm using my brain outside of school though.

I have a job interview/thingie in about an hour. This should be interesting because I got maybe 3 hours sleep last night.. I don't really want to fall asleep in a potential job interview/thingie. That would be embarrassing. And then I'm going to a leaving party/ceilidh for a friend who is going to Guyana for a year (http://ayearinguyana.blogspot.com/). I'm kind of jealous. I would love to go to Guyana for a year, but nope. I have to sit in a School Classroom whilst my brain, slowly but surely, grinds to a halt.

Well I never.

Well it certainly has been a long time. When was the last time I wrote on this thing?! I've been busy. Very busy. Well... Kinda busy. I finished my exams about a month back, I think. My memory still isn't that great. But during that month I started a 6th year, became a (rather crappy) Physics Prefect, went to Germany for a week with the East Highland Concert Band and Caithness Wind Band, went to London for my sisters birthday, lost a game of Go Fish to a 10 year old, played Truth or Dare Animal Noise Snap (A truly awesome game), met some really cool peoples, and tonight I'm off to Alton Towers with Heather! I need a break. And a job. I really need a job.

My only trouble is that all restaurants round about where I live don't want to hire anyone, and most of the shops in Inverness close about an hour after I get out of school. I could do weekends, but most of my weekends are full up. I have Big Band rehearsals once every 4 weeks and then there are always multiple concerts I have to play in. My sister is going to try and get me a job at the NEXT she works at. Here's hoping.

I don't really know what else to write. My brain is sore from thinking and my eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen for the whole day. I might go outside now. See what this whole "Fresh Air" thing is about.

The Adventures on Mugwump and Bogwang.

I do have a reason for that title. It's a very odd story if I'm honest. I am Bogwang, and Devon (http://devonisonfirestill.blogspot.com/) is Mugwump and I can't exactly remember why we gave each other these names. I think I miss heard her and I thought she said "Mugwump!" when she said something, so I then called her Mugwump. She then proceeded to call me Bogwang. I in fact have both names written on my arm. I'm very bored, I was at a party last night and in about two hours I'm going to a family friends for surprise birthday party. I'm not really overjoyed, I don't wanna go. I am so tired. I wanna stay at home and watch Doctor Who on iPlayer. But no, I have to study and then I have to go. Sigh. Oh, there's a new series of Doctor Who coming out soon. I cannae wait. At least tonight there may be good food. But I never like formal gatherings. The food sucks. I mean, its oh so posh and fancy. The only food that I like that's normally there are the cocktail sausages. I hate the posh wee triangular sandwiches with Cucumber and Mayonaise or whatever is in those things. And there are normally some kinda meat dishes as well. But the meat is always cold. Meat should never be served cold. It's too disgusting and, well, unnatural! Eugh. Anyways, gotta run to "Study" or maybe watch Doctor Who. Depends on my mood. DFTBA.

The Ramblings of a Friend.

My friend today managed to get hold of my Physics jotter for a whole period and in it she wrote a whole tonne of stuff, most of which is random words. So I decided to blog it all out. Just for her. Here we go;
"Hai Andrew! .... I'mma fill this whole page with my rubbish, ya know, as you do :). Have pretty much ran out of things to say already... So... Pineapples are in season. Holy crap! I love pineapple... Yum.... I miss Devon :( Stupid dentish stealing my Barnett from me. Oh wow. You should do art... I mean, that drawing is so amazing that I can't stand it. Oh my. Oi, quit being so nosy, it's just a page of uneven nonsensical rambling 'cause that's what I do... Yeah, I'm coo. Gah, I hate when he changes his mind about unites. I have to scribble, and my writing is already more than scrawly enough. This is fairly simple, wasting your paper. I should blog. But I fear nobody would read it / understand it / care. Aha, your page is nearly all full, I kinda wanna keep rambling on and on... Because I'm not done yet... Hm... LOL, you never even saw me turn the page. Ya big fool. You know what? You look so  bored right now that you could keel over. Agh... He changed his mind again... Clearly from Dingwall. Like my uncle. He's a Mr Mackenzie too... But he's James. They're friends actually. It's weird, and then there's you, Monsieur Cambridge. I mean OH LA!! ... Toff. Lol, you loser, Mr Mackenzie; "I wouldn't copy this down." You: "Copied." Smug boy. Loser. Stop getting stuff right! Brainy BIATCH! Queens are supposed to be pleasant, regal and do what the government tells them. I iz government. You shush. Don't answer this, or I'll hit you. Let Mr Mackenzie tell us, brainbox [-_-'] <-- You and the head you have (It's square to fit your brain in) ;) I TOLD YOU NOT TO ANSWER!! BITCH!! .. Not talking to you any more."
And that is where the ramblings stop. I am going to keep this forever and ever just for shear entertainment value. And so my blog ends. DFTBA.

A load of words and stuff.

So it's been just over 2 weeks since my last blog. And not much has happened. Well, not much has happened for 2 weeks. If it had taken place in just a few days it would be considered a lot, but it hasn't. It's been two weeks. I went on a weekend away to Arbroath with my YF which was fun. Met some new people, and met people who I already knew. Arbroath is only about half an hour from Dundee so on the Saturday we went there for a while. We had a choice of things to do: Ice-Skating, Bowling or Swimming. I, being the manly man that I am, went for Ice-Skating. Dundee has a good swimming pool, but I'd  been there before, and I haven't been Ice-Skating in ages. I only fell over once, which was a plus I guess. A negative would have to be the wee toddlers who were doing all the fancy tricks and making my skating look like baby learning to walk. Tragic. We also went to Pleasureland Arcade, which is not as fun as it sounds. The only major things in there were the Spinning Tea Cups and the Dodgems. I hate the Tea Cups, they spin really fast and I hate them.  They are just so sickly and euuugh! Never again. So basically all it had going were the dodgems, and the Candy Floss. Candy Floss is always good.
Another things that happened this week was Valentines Day. I hate Valentines Day. I mean, a lot of people like it. But I bet you they're all in relationships. For a single person, Valentines Day is as good as a chocolate tea pot. They might as well call it "Single Awareness Day" cause that's honestly what it does. The only plus side is the left-over chocolate cut down to half-price the day after. Sigh. Not much else has happened. I got a haircut yesterday, if anyone cares. I got new shoes as well and an application form for Schuh. Back to school Monday though. Shoop de Whoop. DFTBA.

That'll do.

So prelims are over. Whoopy doo. They were technically over for me on Wednesday but I've been too lazy to blog about it so for this blogs sake I'll say they finished yesterday. What I also did yesterday was go to the Kingussie Food On Film Festival with a few other people. It was really kinda fun. There were 12 short films altogether and everyone of them were produced by kids of years S1-S6 I think. I was there because one of my friends was putting his film into the competition. His film won best animation which was pretty awesome. But there were some really amazing films there for the age that the producers were. But then there were some which weren't. And you may be thinking "Oh they're only kids. Its not their fault they can't afford the fancy kit and stuff" but the things that were slightly bad were things which could of been fixed with just a bit more effort and had nothing to do with good software and kit. Their films felt very "That'll do"-ish. Like when they had finished it, they thought "That'll do" and went off to do something else. They never thought "I could do this better" or "Maybe that cut needs patching up". And trust me, saying "That'll do" is never a good idea cause it never will do. I've done it some times on my homework and normally the marks I get back are pretty shabby. But other than that the night was fantastic. Although our train back home was delayed by 20 minutes so we all had to stand outside the Train Station in the freezing cold and battering wind. I don't have much else to talk about. You can hear a podcast I'm in at {http://cerberusradio.posterous.com}, my voice sounds horrible though. That's it I guess. DFTBA.

The "Burns" Unit.

So Tuesday is Robert Burns (Scotland's national poet) birthday. Happy Birthday Burns! You may be dead but oh well, at least you are still remembered. In celebration of this occasion Mum is holding a Burns Night supper with 4 other mothers. All the money raised goes towards the Malawi link we have at our school, so basically it pays us to get there, help build a hall, climb up Mount Mulanje, and get back basically. All the pupils going on the Malawi trip are waiters tonight which should be fun. I have to do a Welcome Speech which is basically 5-6 lines of nothing. It should be fun though. This information probably isn't relevant to you in anyway though. I just wanted to put it in so this blog looks bigger mainly because I have nothing else to write about. Oh wait, yes I do! Studying!

Lets all give it a cheer! Whoop de freaking whoop. The past few days I have done nothing but study. And these aren't even my actual exams coming up. They're prelims! I dread to think what will happen when my actual Highers are around the corner. Will I be stuck in my room under lock and key? Highly unlikely, seeing as there is no-where to put a lock on my door. They could take the xbox away. But that just means I have nothing to do in the very few minutes of free time I will actually get. All of this is slightly exaggerated I hope you realise. I am basically just waffling on cause I don't want to go back to my room and study. Sigh. I can't wait for 6th year. The only bad thing about me being in 6th year is the fact that the current 6th years will have left. That'll be no fun. We'll be the top people in the school after teachers. Double sigh. Well, I suppose I better get back to memorising this welcome speech and get back to learning how to calculate an Enthalpy reaction. Yaaaay! Fun... DFTBA.
