The Adventures on Mugwump and Bogwang.

I do have a reason for that title. It's a very odd story if I'm honest. I am Bogwang, and Devon (http://devonisonfirestill.blogspot.com/) is Mugwump and I can't exactly remember why we gave each other these names. I think I miss heard her and I thought she said "Mugwump!" when she said something, so I then called her Mugwump. She then proceeded to call me Bogwang. I in fact have both names written on my arm. I'm very bored, I was at a party last night and in about two hours I'm going to a family friends for surprise birthday party. I'm not really overjoyed, I don't wanna go. I am so tired. I wanna stay at home and watch Doctor Who on iPlayer. But no, I have to study and then I have to go. Sigh. Oh, there's a new series of Doctor Who coming out soon. I cannae wait. At least tonight there may be good food. But I never like formal gatherings. The food sucks. I mean, its oh so posh and fancy. The only food that I like that's normally there are the cocktail sausages. I hate the posh wee triangular sandwiches with Cucumber and Mayonaise or whatever is in those things. And there are normally some kinda meat dishes as well. But the meat is always cold. Meat should never be served cold. It's too disgusting and, well, unnatural! Eugh. Anyways, gotta run to "Study" or maybe watch Doctor Who. Depends on my mood. DFTBA.

A load of words and stuff.

So it's been just over 2 weeks since my last blog. And not much has happened. Well, not much has happened for 2 weeks. If it had taken place in just a few days it would be considered a lot, but it hasn't. It's been two weeks. I went on a weekend away to Arbroath with my YF which was fun. Met some new people, and met people who I already knew. Arbroath is only about half an hour from Dundee so on the Saturday we went there for a while. We had a choice of things to do: Ice-Skating, Bowling or Swimming. I, being the manly man that I am, went for Ice-Skating. Dundee has a good swimming pool, but I'd  been there before, and I haven't been Ice-Skating in ages. I only fell over once, which was a plus I guess. A negative would have to be the wee toddlers who were doing all the fancy tricks and making my skating look like baby learning to walk. Tragic. We also went to Pleasureland Arcade, which is not as fun as it sounds. The only major things in there were the Spinning Tea Cups and the Dodgems. I hate the Tea Cups, they spin really fast and I hate them.  They are just so sickly and euuugh! Never again. So basically all it had going were the dodgems, and the Candy Floss. Candy Floss is always good.
Another things that happened this week was Valentines Day. I hate Valentines Day. I mean, a lot of people like it. But I bet you they're all in relationships. For a single person, Valentines Day is as good as a chocolate tea pot. They might as well call it "Single Awareness Day" cause that's honestly what it does. The only plus side is the left-over chocolate cut down to half-price the day after. Sigh. Not much else has happened. I got a haircut yesterday, if anyone cares. I got new shoes as well and an application form for Schuh. Back to school Monday though. Shoop de Whoop. DFTBA.

Work Experience - Day 3.

And so my days of working in a Pharmacy are nearing a close. I have one more day and my holidays start. I'm kinda glad though because I honestly have nothing to do in the Holidays. I'm trying to save up for Halo: Reach, but all that money is probably gonna be wasted on Fable III which comes out in about 16 days. Excited! Anyway, Work Experience. That's what this blog is gonna be about.. Like the last two. I promise after the final work experience blog I'll try and do a funny one. Pinky Promise.

Same routine in the morning as the last two days. Wake up, moan and groan about waking up, actually wake up, get up, shower, clothes, food, and go off in the car. I should point out I have to wear a shirt. I never wear shirts! Only for the poshest of posh occasions. But it does make me feel smarter.. Anyway, I got there at the normal time of 9.00am and did nothing for the next hour or so. I did the odd bit of dispensing, but that's it. Tea break started at 10.30am as per usual. My tea came in a cool mug. It changed colour according to if there was something hot in it or not. I want one like that, you know, to distract me further whilst I'm meant to be working. I was given a wee talk about Schizophrenia from one of the Pharmacists and then Catriona, one of the technicians took me down to one of the wards to do a drug check-up. Lunch was different. This lady came in with a whole bunch of Tesco bags filled with food. Apparently the department were having a Drug Lunch. The lady that came in took out her laptop and whilst the department ate their lunch, which the lady kindly had bought, she talked about some stuff that had happened in the world of Pharmacology. I got bored and drifted off. I think I began to wonder what kinda of Super Hero I would be. Anyway, not much happened after lunch as normal, except there was this rush for quite a few prescriptions of Clozapine. After that I played Solitaire and Minesweeper on the computer. Minesweeper is a confusing game..... DFTBA.

Ch-Ch-Changes.

I did a close-reading for my English teacher the other day about a certain monkey called Andi. Andi the Monkey, the first genetically altered monkey there has ever been. The writer mentioned how change is the very essence of life. And I like change. Change keeps things interesting. Be it for the better or for the worse. If everything was always the same, think of how boring things would be. And not like boring as in "Eugh, Sunday night with nothing to do" boring, think of a more "Eugh, my whole life with nothing to do". Change makes us. Hence what the writer said, it's the very essence of life. I used to not like coffee but now I consider Mochas a essential part of my diet... So change, I welcome you...

Now I got that off my mind, I have nothing to write about. I had Big Band last night and the whole of today. It was well fun. We played some good tunes. The next practice is right before the concert so no pressure. I'm bored. Not much to do except Doctor Who repeats on iPlayer.. I wish I had Halo: Reach. Unfortunately I have no money. Bummer.

Mass (After)-Effect

Alright, alright. I haven't done a blog in a while... Actually, I haven't done one in like two weeks. Oopsadaisy. Anyway, It's not my fault, well, it kinda is, but still... I've been busy. Busy playing Mass Effect.. What a game. I mean, seriously, what a game. My only problem about it is that its too short. I kinda find it funny too. Whilst everyone is fussing about Halo: Reach (Which I really really really want), I'm only just starting to play Mass Effect. I don't really have much to talk about. Yesterday was good. Fantastically good. I've not felt so good in ages. In Chemistry we were doing an experiment that involved Propanone (CH3COCH3) and I stated that I smelt Baileys. Unfortunately Heather and Devon didn't hear the word Baileys, they heard "I smell Babies".  Not the best thing for me to say in the middle of a Chemistry classroom. And then during English, I made an even worse mistake. Mrs Mackintosh was going through words that we use that are slang i.e. Chav, Ned. I didn't know this and thought she was saying people who use slang. So I pretty much shouted "Farmer!".. I think I may have confused the whole classroom. And then, in the evening I went to a Ceilidh for the Malawians at school. It's one of the best nights I've had for a long time I think.. One of the Malawians, James, did an impression of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance. Wow. He was good! And I'm not just saying that. He was, like, really good. So yeah, last night was a good night. Last week was a good week altogether.. DFTBA.

Monday Morning Symptoms.

Wow, here's a tip about Chemistry lessons. If your doing an experiment where Ammonia gas is created, don't stick your nose in the beaker and take a really big sniff.... But on the plus side, my runny nose has gone..

So I was re-looking at my last blog and I realised I mention some Zombie rules.. So I though, "Hey, I should make up my own rules.. It'll take me a week or so to make up enough and maybe if I can be bothered I may turn them into a Youtube video... Today was alright. I generally hate Mondays. And Tuesdays. And every day bar Wednesday mornings and some Thursdays. But yeah, today was alright. Apart from the Chemistry incident nothing went too wrong. I got a good result from the Physics test which I thought was an absolute fail so it's all good.. I just finished watching the second last episode of the latest series of Doctor Who and it makes me so happy. Doctor Who is an epic show and Matt Smith is one of the better Doctor's there have been. Him and David Tennant are right up in my list of favourite actors. I kinda needed a boost of happiness to balance out the fact that I remembered how "Of Mice and Men" ended... Such a sad book. Anyway, this is boring. I have nothing to talk about today. Sad Face. DFTBA.

Huhweh?

Blarrahghagh! I have nothing to do in these holidays. I have played and finished every Xbox games. Watched every recorded TV Show. Spent all my money and I'm still bored... If someone has the free time, Entertain me! Please? The current time is 23:05 on the evening of Saturday the 31st of July 2010.. Lets see how much I can write before my brain cuts out.

{Cutest. Thingie. Evar!}

I didn't do much today. Oh, I got a haircut. I actually wanted it, which is strange. Mum must have put something in my food. My Dad and I were gonna go rockclimbing before we picked Rhona up from work but we arrived to find the closing times had changed and the rock-wall had closed a mere 15 minutes earlier. Damn you Inverness Aquadome/Leasure Centre place. Damn you. But then I thought "Hey, I've got two hours till we pick up Rhona, LETS GET A HAIRCUT! YAY!" because as much as I hate to admit it, my hair had kinda gotten a bit too long. My curls were too, well, curly... And off we went barber hunting. Most were closed but we found one that was open. I'd never been there before but they were pretty decent. But I'm not sure if its me, or if its something in the Y Chromosome that all we males share, but telling the barber what you want your hair to be like is really hard... How can you say "Like this, but shorter" in Barber speak? Its all like:
  • "Do you want a number two on that?". A number what?
  • "Shall I use the clippers? Or the trimmers?". You're speaking words. None of them makes sense.
  • ""How about getting it layered?" What do I, I don't even....... Whut?
And yeah, I asked for it to be thickened out and with around an inch cut off the length... The lady helped me choose that. I didn't have a clue what I was doing... Before I shut the computer down and leave this for tomorrow, I wanna blog about this. There is a guy who made a Daft Punk helmet in 17 months. And it looks epic. I don't really know much about who Daft Punk are but I don't care cause the helmet is too awesome to take my eyes off it. It has pretty lights and all.... The Youtube video of the guy making it is --> HERE <-- and the guys blog is --> HERE <--. Have fun. I'mma sign off now.

News flash!

Howdy hey.... Um... I was gonna blog about something but I can't remember now. Soooo.... This is just gonna be a load of trash... Ummm... Nothings really happened much. Except today was one of the most brilliant/funnest/entertaining/stupidest English lessons evar!! What happened was because me and Devon had been there last week and knew all the stuff she was going over, we were sent to recycle her paper. This is the list of what happened; Had fun walking around like a pregnant women on the way to recycling bin, couldn't find the bin, asked John the Jannie, found the bin, realised we needed a plastic bag for the paper, went to reception for bag, sent to Janitors room to get bag, no-one there, went to annoy WUM, sent away from WUM, complained about plastic bag, got given a plastic bag by the the photocopier lady, went back to bin, attempted to empty paper into the bag, failed, dropped paper box into bag, spent 5 minutes chasing run-away paper, put bag in bin, ran away. Aaaaaaaaaaah good times...

So that's the highlight of my day really.... I cannot wait for Crackdown 2, I've been playing the demo. Zohmygoodness. That looks amazing. Like properly. Like UH-MAZINGLY good. Anyways, so does Assassins Creed Brotherhood, that looks cool. And I cannot wait for the third installment of the Assassins Creed series. I think it'll be Greece next....

That's it really. I'm quite bored. I miss the rest of the group in school. It really is boring without them........
