Error; Attempting to run Brain.exe, Item not found.

My brain is dead. I never expected my brain to rot so quickly over the holidays.. But apparently sitting around on the sofa for 6 weeks whilst doing nothing else can do that to you. What's worse is that I now actually have to try and use this piece of garbage in my head, because I'm back at School. AH Maths and Chemistry and practically just killing the brain cells which didn't happen to die during the Summer. And sleep deprivation from various parties and gatherings doesn't really help either. Not that I'm using my brain outside of school though.

I have a job interview/thingie in about an hour. This should be interesting because I got maybe 3 hours sleep last night.. I don't really want to fall asleep in a potential job interview/thingie. That would be embarrassing. And then I'm going to a leaving party/ceilidh for a friend who is going to Guyana for a year (http://ayearinguyana.blogspot.com/). I'm kind of jealous. I would love to go to Guyana for a year, but nope. I have to sit in a School Classroom whilst my brain, slowly but surely, grinds to a halt.

Well I never.

Well it certainly has been a long time. When was the last time I wrote on this thing?! I've been busy. Very busy. Well... Kinda busy. I finished my exams about a month back, I think. My memory still isn't that great. But during that month I started a 6th year, became a (rather crappy) Physics Prefect, went to Germany for a week with the East Highland Concert Band and Caithness Wind Band, went to London for my sisters birthday, lost a game of Go Fish to a 10 year old, played Truth or Dare Animal Noise Snap (A truly awesome game), met some really cool peoples, and tonight I'm off to Alton Towers with Heather! I need a break. And a job. I really need a job.

My only trouble is that all restaurants round about where I live don't want to hire anyone, and most of the shops in Inverness close about an hour after I get out of school. I could do weekends, but most of my weekends are full up. I have Big Band rehearsals once every 4 weeks and then there are always multiple concerts I have to play in. My sister is going to try and get me a job at the NEXT she works at. Here's hoping.

I don't really know what else to write. My brain is sore from thinking and my eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen for the whole day. I might go outside now. See what this whole "Fresh Air" thing is about.

The Adventures on Mugwump and Bogwang.

I do have a reason for that title. It's a very odd story if I'm honest. I am Bogwang, and Devon (http://devonisonfirestill.blogspot.com/) is Mugwump and I can't exactly remember why we gave each other these names. I think I miss heard her and I thought she said "Mugwump!" when she said something, so I then called her Mugwump. She then proceeded to call me Bogwang. I in fact have both names written on my arm. I'm very bored, I was at a party last night and in about two hours I'm going to a family friends for surprise birthday party. I'm not really overjoyed, I don't wanna go. I am so tired. I wanna stay at home and watch Doctor Who on iPlayer. But no, I have to study and then I have to go. Sigh. Oh, there's a new series of Doctor Who coming out soon. I cannae wait. At least tonight there may be good food. But I never like formal gatherings. The food sucks. I mean, its oh so posh and fancy. The only food that I like that's normally there are the cocktail sausages. I hate the posh wee triangular sandwiches with Cucumber and Mayonaise or whatever is in those things. And there are normally some kinda meat dishes as well. But the meat is always cold. Meat should never be served cold. It's too disgusting and, well, unnatural! Eugh. Anyways, gotta run to "Study" or maybe watch Doctor Who. Depends on my mood. DFTBA.

The Ramblings of a Friend.

My friend today managed to get hold of my Physics jotter for a whole period and in it she wrote a whole tonne of stuff, most of which is random words. So I decided to blog it all out. Just for her. Here we go;
"Hai Andrew! .... I'mma fill this whole page with my rubbish, ya know, as you do :). Have pretty much ran out of things to say already... So... Pineapples are in season. Holy crap! I love pineapple... Yum.... I miss Devon :( Stupid dentish stealing my Barnett from me. Oh wow. You should do art... I mean, that drawing is so amazing that I can't stand it. Oh my. Oi, quit being so nosy, it's just a page of uneven nonsensical rambling 'cause that's what I do... Yeah, I'm coo. Gah, I hate when he changes his mind about unites. I have to scribble, and my writing is already more than scrawly enough. This is fairly simple, wasting your paper. I should blog. But I fear nobody would read it / understand it / care. Aha, your page is nearly all full, I kinda wanna keep rambling on and on... Because I'm not done yet... Hm... LOL, you never even saw me turn the page. Ya big fool. You know what? You look so  bored right now that you could keel over. Agh... He changed his mind again... Clearly from Dingwall. Like my uncle. He's a Mr Mackenzie too... But he's James. They're friends actually. It's weird, and then there's you, Monsieur Cambridge. I mean OH LA!! ... Toff. Lol, you loser, Mr Mackenzie; "I wouldn't copy this down." You: "Copied." Smug boy. Loser. Stop getting stuff right! Brainy BIATCH! Queens are supposed to be pleasant, regal and do what the government tells them. I iz government. You shush. Don't answer this, or I'll hit you. Let Mr Mackenzie tell us, brainbox [-_-'] <-- You and the head you have (It's square to fit your brain in) ;) I TOLD YOU NOT TO ANSWER!! BITCH!! .. Not talking to you any more."
And that is where the ramblings stop. I am going to keep this forever and ever just for shear entertainment value. And so my blog ends. DFTBA.

A load of words and stuff.

So it's been just over 2 weeks since my last blog. And not much has happened. Well, not much has happened for 2 weeks. If it had taken place in just a few days it would be considered a lot, but it hasn't. It's been two weeks. I went on a weekend away to Arbroath with my YF which was fun. Met some new people, and met people who I already knew. Arbroath is only about half an hour from Dundee so on the Saturday we went there for a while. We had a choice of things to do: Ice-Skating, Bowling or Swimming. I, being the manly man that I am, went for Ice-Skating. Dundee has a good swimming pool, but I'd  been there before, and I haven't been Ice-Skating in ages. I only fell over once, which was a plus I guess. A negative would have to be the wee toddlers who were doing all the fancy tricks and making my skating look like baby learning to walk. Tragic. We also went to Pleasureland Arcade, which is not as fun as it sounds. The only major things in there were the Spinning Tea Cups and the Dodgems. I hate the Tea Cups, they spin really fast and I hate them.  They are just so sickly and euuugh! Never again. So basically all it had going were the dodgems, and the Candy Floss. Candy Floss is always good.
Another things that happened this week was Valentines Day. I hate Valentines Day. I mean, a lot of people like it. But I bet you they're all in relationships. For a single person, Valentines Day is as good as a chocolate tea pot. They might as well call it "Single Awareness Day" cause that's honestly what it does. The only plus side is the left-over chocolate cut down to half-price the day after. Sigh. Not much else has happened. I got a haircut yesterday, if anyone cares. I got new shoes as well and an application form for Schuh. Back to school Monday though. Shoop de Whoop. DFTBA.

That'll do.

So prelims are over. Whoopy doo. They were technically over for me on Wednesday but I've been too lazy to blog about it so for this blogs sake I'll say they finished yesterday. What I also did yesterday was go to the Kingussie Food On Film Festival with a few other people. It was really kinda fun. There were 12 short films altogether and everyone of them were produced by kids of years S1-S6 I think. I was there because one of my friends was putting his film into the competition. His film won best animation which was pretty awesome. But there were some really amazing films there for the age that the producers were. But then there were some which weren't. And you may be thinking "Oh they're only kids. Its not their fault they can't afford the fancy kit and stuff" but the things that were slightly bad were things which could of been fixed with just a bit more effort and had nothing to do with good software and kit. Their films felt very "That'll do"-ish. Like when they had finished it, they thought "That'll do" and went off to do something else. They never thought "I could do this better" or "Maybe that cut needs patching up". And trust me, saying "That'll do" is never a good idea cause it never will do. I've done it some times on my homework and normally the marks I get back are pretty shabby. But other than that the night was fantastic. Although our train back home was delayed by 20 minutes so we all had to stand outside the Train Station in the freezing cold and battering wind. I don't have much else to talk about. You can hear a podcast I'm in at {http://cerberusradio.posterous.com}, my voice sounds horrible though. That's it I guess. DFTBA.

The "Burns" Unit.

So Tuesday is Robert Burns (Scotland's national poet) birthday. Happy Birthday Burns! You may be dead but oh well, at least you are still remembered. In celebration of this occasion Mum is holding a Burns Night supper with 4 other mothers. All the money raised goes towards the Malawi link we have at our school, so basically it pays us to get there, help build a hall, climb up Mount Mulanje, and get back basically. All the pupils going on the Malawi trip are waiters tonight which should be fun. I have to do a Welcome Speech which is basically 5-6 lines of nothing. It should be fun though. This information probably isn't relevant to you in anyway though. I just wanted to put it in so this blog looks bigger mainly because I have nothing else to write about. Oh wait, yes I do! Studying!

Lets all give it a cheer! Whoop de freaking whoop. The past few days I have done nothing but study. And these aren't even my actual exams coming up. They're prelims! I dread to think what will happen when my actual Highers are around the corner. Will I be stuck in my room under lock and key? Highly unlikely, seeing as there is no-where to put a lock on my door. They could take the xbox away. But that just means I have nothing to do in the very few minutes of free time I will actually get. All of this is slightly exaggerated I hope you realise. I am basically just waffling on cause I don't want to go back to my room and study. Sigh. I can't wait for 6th year. The only bad thing about me being in 6th year is the fact that the current 6th years will have left. That'll be no fun. We'll be the top people in the school after teachers. Double sigh. Well, I suppose I better get back to memorising this welcome speech and get back to learning how to calculate an Enthalpy reaction. Yaaaay! Fun... DFTBA.

Mining and Crafting.

So over the past two weeks or so I've been playing a game called Minecraft on the Computer. I call it a game but it's still in Beta so there's quite a few bugs and stuff. Basically you have to try and collect resources (Coal, Wood, Stone) and build with them, hence Minecraft. There's no real aim to the game other than surviving. But surviving gets difficult as when night time arrives in the game, bad things happen and bad guys appear. Zombies that make creepy noises, Skeletons armed with bows and arrows, Spiders with glowing red eyes. But the worst enemy? The Creeper. Why is that? Cause this guy blows up if you get too close to him and destroys everything within the surrounding area. Normally when the night is over and the sun is up, the Zombies and Skeletons burn, but not the Creeper. He just waits outside your D.I.Y fort waiting for you to step out and then "Sssssssss... BOOM!". Before you know it the whole left side wall is gone.

(He only wants a hug.)

And in a way, this could be translated to real life. I mean, you spend a day, a week, a month or a year doing something, you finally step outside feeling fantastic at what you've accomplished, and then someone goes and ruins it all. It may not be their fault, I doubt the Creeper chooses to blow up, but it still happens. The meaning could also be an internal comparison. The day you finally build up enough courage to shine and when you do you get trampled all over. But the beauty of Minecraft is that it is full of opportunities. You can start over, build it all up again and when the day comes, finally step outside and marvel at your handiwork, but this time there's a fence the whole way round, to stop that Creeper from doing it again. DFTBA.

Boredom Rules All.

So here I am again blogging. I finished editing our school's Winter Karaoke video yesterday. I would say it's pretty good seeing as this is my first time actually editing something this size before. I'd say it's a step-up for me in my video editing career that doesn't exist. Compared to everyone else's work though it's pretty crappy. I mean, a five year old could probably have done what I did. But I'm still proud.

I've also had revising to do this past week, I realised on Monday how much homework my teachers had given me. How much I hear you ask? Too much. And that's on top of revision. The fact that I'm playing my Xbox 75% of the day doesn't help either. But how can I resist?! It's so shiny and cool, despite the fact its the old model and the new model is even shinier and cooler. Wow I need a life. I also just realised this is my first blog of the new year. Happy New Year! Which sounds pretty impossible. I mean, you try to stay happy all year in 2011. That's a pretty big resolution. Speaking of resolutions, I've not made one this year, granted I haven't ever made one and kept to it. But one of my friends is not eating dessert for the whole of 2011. I have to ask one question, why?! This guy is a rugby player in St Andrews university and is in no danger of getting fat. I'm pretty sure he could spare a Lemon Meringue Pie or two. But oh well, his decision. Now if you excuse me, I have some Physics to finish. DFTBA.

Christmas Kerfuffle?

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?! Umm.. Duh duh duh dum?
I don't know the rest of the words. But what I do know is that I am back. I have not done a blog in months and because my Internet is being really slow and I actually have something to write about, I'm doing another one.

So, Christmas. Did you all have fun? I did, though I didn't feel very christmassy. It could have been the fact that school ended two days before it, or it could have been the lack of Christmas lights in Fortrose. But I did feel christmassy on the day. Slept till 9am. Got woken up my sister. Went downstairs, oggled at presents and then began the wait for the older, slower people a.k.a Parents and Grandparents. So we waited, and waited, and waited, and after a while opened one of our smaller presents to keep us in the mood. I got Halo: Reach, a game I have been wanting for ages. I got other bits and bobs, a new ipod which was both birthday present and Christmas present combined and so on and so forth. There was snow, which was good, but it's thawing now so that's a bit sucky. I'm hopefully going into town tomorrow to get Fallout: New Vegas for the PC. This is rather odd for me as I'm normally a Xbox gamer, but after watching some gameplay footage, the PC version seems a lot better.

What I'm finding particularly disturbing though is the fact that it doesn't seem that long since last Christmas. I still have to watch some DVDs I got last year. The whole year has flown past. Exams, the start of 5th year, all of it. Before the end of term we got our 6th year choices form. Our 6th year choices form?! I can barely handle some of our 5th year subjects, (mainly English though). I'm gonna be insane though and go for Advanced Higher Chemistry, Physics and Maths. I feel old. Too old. Even though I did just turn 16, which makes me quite young in comparison that Devon (http://devonisonfirestill.blogspot.com/) who just turned 17 and insists on calling me Baby Andrew.

So I hope you had a good Christmas, and I will see you all in the New Year. DFTBA

Nothing..

I have absolutely nothing to write about. Honestly. Nothing exciting which is worth blogging happens to me. My latest big thing was Fable III coming out and I've almost finished it for the second time. Bwaah! Umm... What can I blog about?! I have an English essay to write but I'm to lazy to do it. Oh!! I saw "The Social Network" the other day! That was a good film. It has a lot of good reviews. But apparently Heather hated it. Oh well. It had the dude from Zombieland in it. Jesse Eisenberg? Is that his name? And also Andrew Garfield who is gonna be the next Spiderman. He was also in an episode on Doctor Who which explains where I'd seen him before. What else happened to me? I'm going to Cromarty Fireworks hopefully on Friday and I have a lot of NAB's and tests coming up. Oh joyous day. DFTBA.

Nerd-Man!

I am gonna have a right old nerd fest in this blog. I've been thinking lately about what super-powers I would have, so if you don't superheroes and stuff, leave, cause this is likely to be a very very nerdy blog. Now, If you're still here, good. Anyway, to my point. I would love to have superpowers. Like, so much! But I don't want to be Superman. He's your typical Superhero. The man who can do everything. He has no flaws and seems to unreal as superheroes go. I also wouldn't want to be a superhero without superpowers. As cool and rich as both Tony Starke, a.k.a Iron Man, and Bruce Wayne, a.k.a Batman, are they don't have superpowers which is what makes you a superhero. Without them, you're more of just a hero. A very rich and cool hero, but still only a hero. So if I were to have powers I'd want something more X-Men or Heroes style. Wolverine would be good I guess, but Metal Claws and Regeneration just aren't my thing. Professor Xavier? Telepathy would be slightly annoying at times. Peter Petrelli? Problems would occur if I was the only Superhero and had no-one else's powers to take. In my spare time, I've whittled my choices of which Superhero to be down to two. Hiro Nakamura from Heroes, or Gambit who has appeared in a few D.C comics. Gambit would be my top choice though. If you have no-idea who Remy Etienne LeBeau, a.k.a Gambit, is you should look him up.
But what if I had the choice to choose my Superpowers like some sort of ethereal Pick 'n' Mix? I compiled a list..
  • The ability to control and produce Electricity.
  • Telekinesis.
  • Space/Time control.
  • Superhuman agility.
So that's my list of superpowers I would choose if I could. And I know that Superpowers are never going to be developed, not in my life time anyway. But with a big increase into Genetics, a boy can still dream. DFTBA.

Work Experience - Day 4.

And it's over... I had my last day of Work Experience. I'm not gonna go over it. Nothing happened. At all. Literally, I did nothing more interesting than the last few days. I basically just sat around and played about on Wikipedia searching up things that made np difference to my life at all i.e. How old do you have to be before you die of Old Age? I did get a wireless mouse from them though. That was nice... It's all blue and green and funky. Anyway, I can't wait for my long long sleep tomorrow. But in reality I'm not gonna get one. Because either Mum will wake me up around 8.30 or I get bored of sleeping and lazing in bed.. I don't understand how some people can stay in bed till like 3.00pm. It makes no sense to me. You've wasted half your day already doing nothing.. And if you thought "I wouldn't be doing anything anyway" just then, you could be doing something if you got your ass out of bed. Just saying. DFTBA.

Work Experience - Day 3.

And so my days of working in a Pharmacy are nearing a close. I have one more day and my holidays start. I'm kinda glad though because I honestly have nothing to do in the Holidays. I'm trying to save up for Halo: Reach, but all that money is probably gonna be wasted on Fable III which comes out in about 16 days. Excited! Anyway, Work Experience. That's what this blog is gonna be about.. Like the last two. I promise after the final work experience blog I'll try and do a funny one. Pinky Promise.

Same routine in the morning as the last two days. Wake up, moan and groan about waking up, actually wake up, get up, shower, clothes, food, and go off in the car. I should point out I have to wear a shirt. I never wear shirts! Only for the poshest of posh occasions. But it does make me feel smarter.. Anyway, I got there at the normal time of 9.00am and did nothing for the next hour or so. I did the odd bit of dispensing, but that's it. Tea break started at 10.30am as per usual. My tea came in a cool mug. It changed colour according to if there was something hot in it or not. I want one like that, you know, to distract me further whilst I'm meant to be working. I was given a wee talk about Schizophrenia from one of the Pharmacists and then Catriona, one of the technicians took me down to one of the wards to do a drug check-up. Lunch was different. This lady came in with a whole bunch of Tesco bags filled with food. Apparently the department were having a Drug Lunch. The lady that came in took out her laptop and whilst the department ate their lunch, which the lady kindly had bought, she talked about some stuff that had happened in the world of Pharmacology. I got bored and drifted off. I think I began to wonder what kinda of Super Hero I would be. Anyway, not much happened after lunch as normal, except there was this rush for quite a few prescriptions of Clozapine. After that I played Solitaire and Minesweeper on the computer. Minesweeper is a confusing game..... DFTBA.

Work Experience - Day 2.

So yesterday I forgot to mention something about my work experience. I learned yesterday that I am only doing a four day week, one day less than which I thought I was doing. Apparently Friday is some sort of public holiday so they Pharmacy are closed for that day. But I'm not complaining. So today, the morning was the same as yesterday. Wake up early, shower, have breakfast (Honey Nut Cheerios), watch TV, and set off around 8.20am.. It was freezing this morning! And there was this massive wave of fog rolling in over the hills so the sun was blocked out, making it colder. Anyway, I got to the Hospital and went it. I was greeted and stuff and for the first hour and a half I sat around and did the odd bit of dispensing (Writing up labels and sorting the drugs into boxes for patients being discharged). After the tea break, which wasn't nice. The milk was a bit off and the sugar had run out so we used sweeteners, but a cuppa is a cuppa. At 11.00am Thom Shaw gave me a talk about Bipolar disorder, what it is and the drugs that are used for it. This lasted 30-40 minutes and afterwards I helped one of the other pharmacists, Jill, go round two of the wards and see which drugs they have and which they didn't. Back at the department I wrote up a form for the drugs that were needed for those wards. Lunch was for 45 minutes and during that time I played a bit of Minesweeper and Solitaire on one of the laptops. I also looked up some conditions which affect the mind i.e Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Alzheimers, Depression... After lunch I restocked the Pharmacy drug shelves with fresh drugs which came in today, and was introduced to the blister pod. It may sound disgusting but it's not. It's basically a box with holes for morning, lunch-time, evening and bed-time for each day of the week. Into these holes we put the drugs which had needed to be taken at those times, on those days. This method is mainly for disabled people or old people who couldn't read the labels on the boxes for their drugs. After that I did some more research on some sort of stuff and played more Minesweeper. Not much happens after 3.00pm to be honest.. DFTBA.

Work Experience - Day 1.

These blogs are more for my benefit than yours but over the next four days I'm gonna just do a blog on my work experience cause I don't have much else to write about... So I woke up today at 7 o'clock and actually got up around 7.20.. I had my breakfast and watched a bit of telly. At 8.10, Dad took me into Inverness. We got lost trying to find Newcraigs Hospital (The Psychiatric Hospital where I'm doing Work Experience). We found it eventually. I went in and followed the signs to the Pharmacy department where I knocked on the door and went in; leaving my dad behind. I was greeted by Thom Shaw, the head Pharmacologist (Whose surname is epic cause it's the surname of a bad guy in Chuck) and was interviewed by him for a little while. I was introduced to the rest of the team and then shown around the building. For the rest of the time until the Tea break I searched through the NHS's Website to see if there was anything useful I could use to make myself look smarter. Apparently, watching House doesn't teach you everything. After a cup of tea and being asked questions by different members of the department, the two Pharmacy Technicians (Jennetta and Catriona) gave me some dispensing work. Basically I printed out labels and boxed up the drugs for the people who were being discharged from the Hospital. I got a few wrong. Thankfully the Pharmacy people have to check all the Drugs being given before the patients can be sent on their way. This went on until lunch time (around 1.00pm) in which I had my roll, which had been picked up from the Co-op right before I left in the morning, and another cup of tea. After that I did some more dispensing, got a few more wrong and then everything settled down around 3.00pm and I was given a folder on the general workings and a folder on Clozapine, which is one of the drugs used on Schizophrenics, to read. I actually read a lot about Schizophrenia. Contrary to popular belief it's not Split Personalities. It's pretty much just hearing voices in your head and having hallucinations and delusions... So at 5.00pm I went home and got excited by some Bubble-Wrap which came with some shiny computer parts.. Yaaay!

Blaargh..

I just realised Blogspot has a stats section.... Cool... I can now be even more paranoid about my number of page views. Yaaaaay.. I haven't written in a while. In an age actually. I don't have much to talk about. Apart from that next week I will be working in a Pharmaceutical department of a Psychiatric Hospital. That's right. Andrew Berry, an utter clown and altogether clumsy person, is making drugs.. Sweetness! In preparation I've started watching Series 1 of House. House is one of my favourite T.V show, along with Chuck and Mythbusters. Dr Gregory House M.D is what I would quite like to be when I grow older. And I love Hugh Laurie. His American accent he puts on is so convincing most Americans won't believe he's British. I'm considering bringing a cane in on Monday and pretending to have a limp.

Ch-Ch-Changes.

I did a close-reading for my English teacher the other day about a certain monkey called Andi. Andi the Monkey, the first genetically altered monkey there has ever been. The writer mentioned how change is the very essence of life. And I like change. Change keeps things interesting. Be it for the better or for the worse. If everything was always the same, think of how boring things would be. And not like boring as in "Eugh, Sunday night with nothing to do" boring, think of a more "Eugh, my whole life with nothing to do". Change makes us. Hence what the writer said, it's the very essence of life. I used to not like coffee but now I consider Mochas a essential part of my diet... So change, I welcome you...

Now I got that off my mind, I have nothing to write about. I had Big Band last night and the whole of today. It was well fun. We played some good tunes. The next practice is right before the concert so no pressure. I'm bored. Not much to do except Doctor Who repeats on iPlayer.. I wish I had Halo: Reach. Unfortunately I have no money. Bummer.

Mass (After)-Effect

Alright, alright. I haven't done a blog in a while... Actually, I haven't done one in like two weeks. Oopsadaisy. Anyway, It's not my fault, well, it kinda is, but still... I've been busy. Busy playing Mass Effect.. What a game. I mean, seriously, what a game. My only problem about it is that its too short. I kinda find it funny too. Whilst everyone is fussing about Halo: Reach (Which I really really really want), I'm only just starting to play Mass Effect. I don't really have much to talk about. Yesterday was good. Fantastically good. I've not felt so good in ages. In Chemistry we were doing an experiment that involved Propanone (CH3COCH3) and I stated that I smelt Baileys. Unfortunately Heather and Devon didn't hear the word Baileys, they heard "I smell Babies".  Not the best thing for me to say in the middle of a Chemistry classroom. And then during English, I made an even worse mistake. Mrs Mackintosh was going through words that we use that are slang i.e. Chav, Ned. I didn't know this and thought she was saying people who use slang. So I pretty much shouted "Farmer!".. I think I may have confused the whole classroom. And then, in the evening I went to a Ceilidh for the Malawians at school. It's one of the best nights I've had for a long time I think.. One of the Malawians, James, did an impression of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance. Wow. He was good! And I'm not just saying that. He was, like, really good. So yeah, last night was a good night. Last week was a good week altogether.. DFTBA.

That title you just read, it's gonna be the title of my Personal Reflective whatsit for English. I honestly don't have much else to write about. Nothing major has happened in my life. I mean, I've never even broken a bone. And all the stories I have are fairly embarrassing and/or not possible to have an reflection on. I mean, how can I reflect on being accidentally dropped down the stairs at the age of one? Or flying off a see-saw and face-planting at the age of eight or nine? The only properly major thing that has happened has been moving up here to Scotland and to be perfectly honest, I don't remember much of it. But being a nineties kid is a good topic I think. Cause the way I see it, there are a lot of things which can influence in your younger years to what you become in your older years. Lego blocks can influence your creative or inventive side. Recorders can develop musical skills. Pokémon influences you to fight animals for money.... I mean, whut? But being a nineties kid was great. I had a lot of fun memories of being that old. It was the last decade of the 20th century. The end of a millenia. And boy, what an end. I don't think I would've been able to survive with-out a daily dose of Crazy-bones or Scooters. I miss being that child in ways that I cannot explain. To be an innocent (to an extent) little child with no cares about the rest of the world. Now I admit, I haven't changed much. I'm still immature, I still like Crazy-Bones and Scooters, but now I'm older people start to expect you to act it. And I resent this. Growing older doesn't always necessarily mean I have to grow up. Who wants to be an old, grumpy pencil pusher who's only joy in life is "Antiques Roadshow" and a nice Oatcake? Not me that's for sure. Give me a sippy cup and a episode of "Digimon" any day. DFTBA.
